My favorite one, up until recently, was my pain mgmt. doc. But lately I think we are BOTH frustrated with this disease. I finally get it under control and then it kind of heads off in another direction and nothing works. Is anyone else out there trying different things without much luck? I'll feel really good on the pain med (morphine sulfate ER 60 MG twice a day) and then after about 2 weeks I'm in so much pain and there is no reason why. It's as if I took nothing at all
So, I'm trying to get back in with the pain mgmt doc. this week to change the dosage but there are few choices with the morphine sulfate. Does anyone else out there take this for bladder pain and are you taking anything else with it? Besides Elmiron, I did that for a year and I'm done with it and don't want to hear about it. I'm also going to try Bendryl every night again. It makes me sleep better at least. My doctor won't give me any break-through pain meds so I get frustrated.
