| interstitial cystitis
I have had recurrent utis and ic like pain for 13 years. I was told by a urologist that I have moderately severe ic (glomerulations) and the biopsy showe mild to moderate chronic inflamation consistent with ic.
i went for 2 more opinions and was told i definately do not have ic as my bladder capacity is good and on cystoscopy (without hydrodistension)my bladder is perfectly normal. These 3 urologists will not do hydrodistension.
Is it possible for them to see if I have it without doing hydrodistesion under anaesthetic?
The last uro said the infections were involving the interstitium of the bladder causing ic like symptoms but I dont have ic.
Is she correct?
