dignosed with ic, ect... short quaters for the SSDI.
I was diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome) and Pelvic Floor Disorder Feb 2010, with some Myofascal Symptoms. I had been misdiagnosed with Endometriosis, and the pains became more sever after I had fibroid tumors and muscles removed from surgeries in 2004 and 05. 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and have SSI, but I did go back to school and work for three years. The problem was because of the surgeries and lack of muscles has made the IC worse. It eventually affected my work and I was fired from my job do to job performance ( though at the time we did not know what the cause was).
The IC and PFD cause me to run to the bathroom 5-8 times an hour, and the pain is unbearable and it triggers my bipolar. I want to apply for SSDI cause my husband brings home $300 a week, but the SSI (and goes down the more he earns in OT) isn't enough to make up what I was bringing in, but I am short 4 credits, the woman I talked to from SSA said I should work part time for two years to make up what I need, but I really can't work or go back to school unless they understand the pain I'm in and the need for a bathroom. Would I get SSDI if I appeal? Sorry this is so long, this case is very complicated.
