| 23, do I really have Interstitial Cystitis?
So I have had common utis since the age of about 15. I just started getting common bladder pain and lower abdominal pain with really sensitive kidney back area pain in the mornings before I have used the bathroom, and I also started having a stabbing pain during sex.I don't have a urgency to use the bathroom a lot, and theese issues really got much worse after I had my c section about 11 months ago. I thought I had a uti from the cathader used in surgery but had a couple doctors tell me my urine samples were fine. This being said I was suggested to a urologist and she told me after a survey of questions and feeling my bladder ( Ouch!) that she was pretty sure this was my issue. I was given a medicine for over active bladder, which I haven't taken because I dont have that issue, and diet requirments. My concern is my kidney pain and bloating that I am having. Theese are not usually associated symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis. Could I have been misdiagnosed? What should I do? Thank you so much
