i've noticed it. four years ago when i first started having symptoms was in the winter time when my vitamin C intake increases quite a bit. during that time, i'm usually taking a vitamin C supplement and drinking plenty of orange juice with breakfast. i think there is a correlation, although i cannot prove this without a doubt. all i know is that i eventually started taking peppermint gelcaps before getting a shower and eating in the morning, and at night before sleep and a fibercon tablet with every meal. that got rid of a lot of the symptoms. i don't really take it anymore because my symptoms have subsided a great deal. at one point, i did have frequent diarrhea but there was also an excessive amount of mucus being produced (because the lining of the intestines is a mucus membrane) and gas (from cramping). it was really messing up my normal lifestyle, but i have it under control for the most part. i still gets cramps, and i seem to have a more then normal amount of gas, but i think that's due to cramping because there is typically no odor.
