| Re: describe ur pain ,,,
HI there
my first signs of IBS years ago was these things i called "stomach aches" that I got frequently like everyday or other day. Sometimes they were so bad I had to lie down and I was doing all this research. Then finally went to a doctor who said IBS> My symptoms are alternating constipation/diahreah, bloating, a feeling of bubbly, and spasms in the intenstines, sore feelings, pressure worse at period and during extreme stress and illness. I do go through spans of time where i feel fine for awhile and am grateful for those times (such as now) Then I think I am all better and feel angry and depressed when the IBS returns. I still suspect other underlying causes and sometimes question whether IBS is a thing in itself or a symptom of something else. But in the meantime, all I can do is try and treat my pain when it comes. There is a lot of information on line about ways to deal with IBS. The only way to know for sure is to go to a doctor. I am not the kind of person who goes to doctors very much, but just knowing my pain had a name took some of the stress off. The doctor was helpful (she has it too) and gave me some suggestions and put me at ease talking about these embarressing things.
Good luck!
