| Meds Questions
I have been ibs-c for along time already now, and have tried my share of meds over the years. THe question that I have for someone is about the drugs like levbid and bentyl. THey are prescribed to me by my doctor for the stomach pains and other things, but it says right on the bottles that it may cuase constipation. Why should I be taking anything that causes constipation when I am constipated all the time already??
My other questions is regarding zelnorm. I have been taking it off and on for about 4 months now, and have had mixed results. Some days it causes me to have diareaha, and other days it does nothing. It is good if I stop taking it for awhile and then take it again. It usually gets me going for a day or two. Is it ok to take the zelnorm with the levbid/bentyl, or do they kind of cancel each other out.
