can anyone help? i have been trying to cope with diarhea every single day @10x every morning and it even has waken me up at 5am several times for almost 3 years straight. not a single day goes by with out having it until i was given nexium (1 1/2 yrs ago) for heartburn. all tests came back normal except eleveted fasting serum gastrin. pain 24/7 on right side near ribs and in lower intestines, severe nausea. the doctor had to increase my nexium from 1-40mg capsule once a day to 2 a day due to breakthru symptoms. still get heartburn. if forgot to take nexium one day the next day diarhea nausea and if 2 days vomiting as well. said ibs until new dr. said "NO WAY IBS" testing for ZES possibility. can't figure it out, all labs ok, endoscope revealed reflux, colonoscopy normal, ultra sound ok except mass in liver which they think is a hematoma (harmless?) upper gi-ok, any ideas?

I have very similar symptoms. But I have been dealing with symptoms on and off since about January. Please let me know what the ultimate diagnosis is and what the treatment is.

Have you been tested for parasites or food allergies? Has your water been tested for impurities. Some people have severe allergic reactions to Fluoride that is sometimes added to public water supplies, believing it helps reduce teeth cavities. There are many things in our normal lives that we would never consider to be a health nuisance that can result in misery for others. A hematoma is a blood clot and I guess that depends on where it is located as to whether or not it is harmless. Have they done a liver biopsy to determine that it is truly a hematoma. Have you been tested for HEP B and C?

i'm sorry, i typed hematoma, it's a hemangioma-harmless tumor? but who knows. yes i was tested for parasites and other things as well, even giardia and other water things too, but everything came back ok. my water is private well and we lived here for over 5 1/2 years. symptoms started over 2 1/2 years after we moved here .noone else in my house has any of my symptoms but didn't have water tested, neighbors is ok. they are in the process of testing for "zollinger ellison syndrome".
