buscopan for IBS?
Hi All..I've read on a few post that some ppl are having good luck with Buscopan. I understand it is an OTC drug. I have checked the local cvs and drugstores and can't find it..is it not avalible in the United states?

btw-was just put on zelnorm..any advice?

hey just thought i'd let you know, its not an otc drug.. its a prescription med... its an "anti-spasmadic" drug... others, including myself, take different brands of this medicine, ie. donnatal, etc..... these kind of meds can be 'constipating'... so if you're on zelnorm, which is normally for that side of ibs.. i wouldn't recommend it.... however, you might find relief from peppermint tea, a herbal remedy for pain....

thanks for your help. I will try peppermint tea. I have peppermint softgel tabs but they upset my ulcer
