Bloated 24/7

Hey you guys. I just started taking that effexor xr and it seems to be helping with the diahreah and the cramping. However Since like 3 days after I started it I have felt Bloated 24 hours a day 7 days a week and nothing stops it. Even after I have a bowel movement I feel the same. Any Ideas or is it from the medicine?

Re: Bloated 24/7

I too am on an ssri and find that I too am always really bloated.I always look like I am about 9 months pregnant- and I am no near pregnant as I had my tubes tied 2 years ago and am in abstinance from any sexual contact- ie.- no partner lol.I have no idea how to change this bloating or what to do for it, but if you have found an answer I would be grateful if you would share.Thank you. I have wondered if the constant bloating is from the IBS or if it was just me in particular.

Re: Bloated 24/7

Extreme bloating is my worst symptom for IBS-C. I've found that taking a good quality probiotic helps a bit.
