Diane, what are your symptoms? Cause it is hard to tell the difference! I was suffering from severe pain in lower abdomen and all the way around my waist, kept saying it was IBS but you know what it was my gallbladder! Plus i just recently had laproscopy done of female organs and a DNC procedure and found that i also have endometriosis. Endometriosis in my oppinion mocks IBS. I have talked to alot of people with endometriosis and they say the same thing. Because you can also get endometriosis on bowel lining and in other organs also! The only way of truely diagnosing endo. is through laprascopy surgery though! Good luck to you in keep me informed!
