Muscle Spasms

I have always had a problem with my spastic colon and cramping, but now I get spasm everywhere throughout my body. To the point where i get some serious knot's in my back. Can anyone suggest a good non prescription muscle relaxer to try??

Re: Muscle Spasms

to my knowledge, there are no OTC muscle relaxers. get your doc to write a script. If you're uninsured, Extra Strength Tylenol would probably be the strongest, but do not take more than 6 of those per day because the acetometaphine can damage your liver if you take too much. A hot compress or heating pad might also help.

Re: Muscle Spasms

I use a homeopathic remedy for muscle spasms and cramping-- Magnesia Phos.

I take it when I need it and have not found anything in regular medicine as GOOD!!
