Help Please - Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Message Board

I've already posted this on the Digestive Disorder room. Took from there-

okay so here goes
- i have IBS
- i've been off my birth control pills for about 2 months now cause i can't afford them right now
- i had to go to the hospital 2 weekends ago because of a really bad pain in myleft side, (it was swollen looking)-the doc said as well
- anyways had blood done, and an ultrasound-came back fine
- had an exray done cause they thought maybe it was kidney stones-nothing
-so they assumed i had an infection and gave me antibiotics to take for a week
-the next week i was really itchy (down there) and this white discharge came out for a couple days. i've never had a yeast infection before so i wasn't sure if that was it.
- i only had this problem for about 3 or 4 days and now it's gone
- i still have a pain in my left side and it still sticks out (the pain isn't as bad as before-before it was like a knife stabbing pain- but it's still sore.
- and since i've stopped taking my birth control pills, i haven't had any symptoms of ibs- i hardly go to the bathroom and i haven't gotten sick , and the only pain i have is my left side (lower) and goes toward my back

Does anyone have any idea what this could be??

I was suppose to get my period on tuesday. As yet to arrive....... any thoughts?

I got me period on friday morning. later that day (i'm not sure if it's from the IBS or what) but I had to run to the bathroom , and it just ran out like water. I was in the bathroom for probabbly an hour because I had to keel over the pain in my stomach was extreme. then for about the next 2 hours, i kept getting sick. Now today my stomach still feels crampy. i haven't gotten sick yet, but i've been to the bathroom twice. My dad's girlfriend says that maybe it could be Endometreosis (something like that) - I think it has to do with your period , and it's hard to detect.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what my symptoms may be leading to, or if maybe i should check out this endometreosis thing. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. My stomach is in constant pain all day , and yesterday was the worse.
