Scared and need help - Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Message Board

I am a 25 male and i have acid reflux this is what my doctor has told me but my symptom keep gettin worst. I was wonder has anyone had floating stool while they where suffering with acid reflux. This here really concerns me, My stool doesn't float all the time itz a mixture of floating and non- floating stool. i was wondering can someone give me some advice on this problem. Because i am scared and hope that it is not celiac disease. I think my doctor hasn't test for that because i am afro-american but ehat do u guys think please help me out.

sorry, I cant help you out here much in this situation. although I was hoping someone would post an answer to you question.
I am an acid reflux suffer as well as IBS.
I have several issues. but Ihad never known if that a "floating stool" was considered a problem. or if it was related to which. (IBS) or (GERD)
as I do have floating stool Most ALways. and they are not well formed. not diaorreah (?sp) but loose and not well formed. if the floating stool is a sign or symptom of somthing I sure would like to know. b/c i had never thought of it as one. did your doctor say something about this by chance? hope you find some answers.
