Chrones - Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Message Board

My husband had a colonoscopy and we are waiting for the results. His complaints were Diarrhea throbbing, and itching. The doctor just told him he might have chrones and told him to come in next week. He doesn't have any of the other symptoms. He is 45 years old, has had full blood work done in the past. Do you think it is possible that he has gone all this time without being diagnosed with chrones.

just like me I lived practicaly all my life with undiagnosed celiac disease..headaches, diareeha, bloating, depression, etc.. let me tell ya, doctors are pretty stupid.. just like mechanics, everytime a mechanic fixed my car he never did it right, when I do it, it comes out perfect. Im doing great now..

I'm glad that your doing well. I don't know yet if he has it. The only symptom he has that I can see is a symtom of chrone is diareeha. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah chrons is one of the diseases that mimics the disorder IBS... IBS can do the same, so thats why its good to get the tests done.

How long ago did you have the colonoscopy...? I thought the results would be pretty instant for that, because hes actually seeing the entire large intestine.

The bowel disorder board is probably a better place to get questions answered on chrons.
