Hello everyone,
I think I may be suffering from IBS and have a few questions. Firstly, How is IBS diagnosed? And Secondly, what are the symptoms of IBS? Can IBS start at any age? And what can help with diarrhea? Is it normal to start with a normal bowel movement at the beginning of the day and be bent over with cramping and diarrhea by the end of the night? Any information would be really helpful and thank-you in advance for your opinions.

IBS is diagnosed after all other tests have been done . CT scans, colonoscopy, blood tests, etc. Symptoms are so wide and varied but will include pains that can occur pretty much anywhere, cronnic constipation and or. alternating with diarhea. Diet , water, and fiber is the KEY. It can be really hard to live with but once you figure out what formula works for you, its manageable.
