Hi Guys and Gals,
I am in need of your help. I have been diagnosed with IBS for a while now. I have mostly IBS-C. 2 weeks ago, I found a new product called Digestive Advantage for IBS. I began taking it. A week after taking it, I began to get nauseous. I didn't vomit, but was very nauseous. I assumed it might be the Disgestive advantage, and quit taking it. (I called the company and they said no one had ever complained about it making them sick.) I was still getting nauseous, and then began to throw up. I would eat dinner and throw up....breakfast, throw up. I've had some pain in my right side, but I figured that it was from being constipated, so I really didn't think anything about it. Yesterday I went to the doctor. He took blood and a urine sample. Nothing was wrong with my blood, he checked liver, pancreas, thyroid and everything was fine, except that I had a viral upper respiratory infection. Not sure entirely what that was, till I looked it up and it's a cold. I'm not sneezing, coughing, congested etc. Breathing is fine. I can drink liquids, eat soup, but nothing solid stays down. Anyone have any ideas? I'm totally lost and on top of all that, my husbands insurance company is driving me nuts, they say our insurance isn't active right now, because they somehow when they were changing over to another system....our group got dropped and terminated. I'm supposed to go tomorrow for an upper GI series, but can't now because I just found out today that we aren't active in their system. I don't know how much the test costs, but, I'm sure I can't afford it. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas why I might be vomiting food, but not the liquids.
