Hello! I was diagnosed with IBS with constipation about a year and a half ago. I became dependent on Senokot to relieve myself. I recently went for my first colonoscopy and found I have a twisted colon. I think much of this has to do with weight loss but more my dependency to the Senokot. I need a little encouragement here. I barely go to the bathroom, regardless of the meds I'm taking. It's Tuesday....it's been since Friday. When I went Friday I cleared house and felt the best I've felt in a while. I hate the feeling of being bloated. It makes me feel like a blimp and my pants are starting to pull. I'm an avid gym goer but my mind is doing a job on me. Some pants fit fine, others pull. What gives? Could a twisted colon cause weight gain? I've worked very hard to get from 196 to 150. I don't want the bulges anymore. Anything I can try? Anyone else suffer from a twisted colon? The constant bloating truly affects my self-esteem. Is it this condition or is it weight gain?
