I am writing to see if someone has a good solution to stop having continous constipation. I go about seven days before having a BM....and I can tell when I need to have one because I get nausea and feel full. This has been continous for about a year and I finally decided to have a colonsocopy done (one month ago) and the report came back good......the doctor said I need to drink water.

So after being told that I started out drinking about 6 12oz bottles of water a day and my notice my bowels starting moving every three days ...not much still hard but moving.

I have been on pain meds and mobic for about two years.........
I am on medication for my arthritis i take mobic and ultram twice daily each. I stop taking both to see if my BM would go back to normal but not really.

My eathing habits or not the best. I don't eat a lot of veggies and I can't drink milk so that elimantes the brand flakes. I am exhausted from drinking all this water ......i am not a water drinker. I know of people who never hardly drink water or eat veggies , and they don't suffer with contispation problems.

I know our bodies are all different. I had back surgery contispation and back surgery don't mix well together the strange is hard on my lower back. I've tired laxative, prune juice even fiber cereal. The prune juice give me to much gas, the laxative or harsh, and the milk for the cereal give me gas.
Can someone please give me some advise. I am tired of this contispation...and I need my arthritis meds....but have been during without until the joint pain gets to much for me to endure.
