Over the last few years the IBS is worse. After I eat, I will have diarriah within 5 to 45 minutes after I eat. It happens at home, in town, so I always have to have a bathroom route in mind.

Welcome to the club! Everything I do centers around bathroom availability! While my IBS had gone from D to C in the last few years, I will still have unpredictable episodes from time to time that can send me darting to the bathroom in between bites of dinner! Very, very common for IBS.

Have you received a diagnosis of IBS? Have you had a colonoscopy? If you are concerned about gallbladder, a simple ultrasound can determine if that is the culprit. I've had the test, wishing it was gallbladder. It was not. Personally, I think with bowel problems, it's best to have all the tests available to rule out something more serious (not that IBS isn't serious enough!). I also have acid reflux but it does not influence my IBS. What might have influence is medication taken for reflux. For me, extended use of Prilosec will tend to bind me. Most literature for these meds suggest they not be taken long term as they will completely annihilate all the acids in the belly, which are necessary for good digestion.
Some folks take immodium for the D, especially if they must attend a function where the bathroom situation may be dicey. For myself, I avoid anything that will constipate so rather than an anti-D med, I will take a fiber supplement.
