| Re: Natural help? ANybody done this?
I personally have not heard of this. But I have found for myself if I eat soluble fiber before eating insoluble fiber it helps tremendously. Also I can't eat many raw vegetables, but cooked ones don't bother me. Whole grains trigger my ibs. Which oddly enough I started having all these problems after I switched to a whole grain diet. So at my doctors suggestion i went back to white pasta, white rice, white breads (like sourdough and such, not wonder bread type stuff), etc. And it has made a huge difference. I don't eat a lot of it becaus pasta makes me bloat really bad and put on weight fast. But as long as i'm careful with my portions I've found going back to the refined stuff has made a huge difference. I've also heard that organic acacia fiber is the best fiber supplement for us. It is more expensive than fiber supplements you can buy at grocery stores, so i haven't tried it yet.
