I have found eating too much of processed sugar products - yup, all the good stuff! - really increases my gas - especially if eaten on an empty stomach. On days when I can stay away from sugar I have almost no gas. The natural sugars in fruit don't cause much gas at all for me. I have experimented with eliminating dairy, high fibre foods, wheat, etc and using OTC gas remedies but nothing has made as big of a difference as sugar.
