My Dr. put me on Donnatal for my abdominal pain , can anyone tell me what is it for?

Re: a question about IBS?
It's used for treating IBS and the cramping of the bowels. It's a rather old medication and it has a barbiturate in it, so be sure to follow the doctors prescribing directions closely.
