Darla, When I had similar symptoms none of the gynecologists I saw thought I had a gynecology problem because nothing could be seen on imaging tests and all my lab tests came back in normal range.
Eventually I was sent to the Gastroenterologist.
Although he agreed to a colonoscopy he told me that he already knew that nothing would show up from the colon oscopy because in his opinion he felt I had pelvic adehsions attaching to my colon from the outside of the colon.
And he was absolutely 100% right.
A surgeon has to go inside the pelvic area with a laproscope to diagnose and treat correctly.
That's the basic.
So, if you exhaust all of the Bowel disorder avenues and still have the problem, find a good Reproductive Endocrinologist and see if you can get an exploratory lap scheduled. I suggest a Reproductive Endocrinologist because if you do have the pelvic adhesion problem it is highly likely that you might have a metabolic disorder attached to that problem and a RE could give you the best guidence if that is the reality
