 Have to ask...
This is a very strange question to ask, but I need to know. When you are in the midst of a full blown IBS attack, how many times a day are you in the bathroom? My 13 year old son has been preliminarily diagnosed (have a gastro appt. next week) with UC. He has been sick for 3 months, and at the height of it, was in the bathroom 30 times a day! (This is not an exaggeration!). His g.p. put him on flagyl and prednisone while waiting for the specialists opinion, and finally (after 3 weeks of meds), he is down to 10 times in the bathroom a day. Is this really extreme, or is this the way it goes for most of you?
