Lightbulb Coconut oil?

Recently I have been hearing that coconut oil is helpful with digestion, and even maccaroons which are usually wheat free. Coconut cream in a can could be a great sugar substitute if it is true that it is beneficial for ibs. Anybody heatrd of this or tried it?
