I have a sister with IBS for alot of years now shes 54 yrs old.Sometimes after she eats she runs to the bath room one thing she has been trying is one half tsp. of cinnimon in water it seems to calm things down. She was taking amodium AD.but got amuned to it and she didn't want to take it all the time either.I've been praying for her for sometime.I know there isn't a cure for it but would anyone else have any remidies that might help ?

A couple things come to mind. If the Immodium helps her, she can safely take that the rest of her life.

A couple other things that can helop tremendously for some people are calcium supplements or a drug called Questran/colestid.
