Post stress

Hi, I'm starting college next week and was wondering what everyone else does to help ease the pain.. i find that when im nervous i need to run to the bathroom but i usually just get there and calm down.. i know that im really nervous of starting school cause i dont know anyone at all this is in a new town and a new place and well thats not making matters any better im sure.. i wish i could find a way to help ease the stress then maybe my stomach would calm down once in a while.. i think im more nervous about what ppl will think ... me having to run out every 15 or 20 minutes ... i have these sharp pains in my lower stomach a couple times a day and its usually right in the morning up untill around 5:00... and i think im starting to create a phobia for myself.. i hate the fact of having to use the bathroom in a public place.. i really dread it..

Hi Sunshine,

I usually put my imagination to work to help alleviate the pain. Try the following remedy:
Imagine you are sipping water (or a water, milk mix) through the middle of the V of your chest to your mouth from the areas that are in pain in your digestive system. You will find that by alternatively narrowing and widening the water stream, you will be able to reduce a considerable amount of pain. Do not use this technique too much It may cause you to hyperventillate - Take some breaks in between and take deep and calm breathing. Make sure to concentrate on keeping the water flowing through the V of your chest while using the technique - also try to relax.

Well, I hope this helps you somewhat.

Cheers, Raju.
