I have been to the doctor 6 times in the past 5 months for a reoccuring pain in my lower left abdominal. It almost feels like a gas pain and seems directly related to bowel movements. Certain foods, drinks can increase the severity of the pain but either way it is still there. I work out a lot and I run a whole lot, sometimes it bothers me when I run and when I do crunches. There is no "lump" in the abdominal region and the pain comes in goes. I have ruled out the possibillity of a hernia and kidney stones, gallbladder disease and so on. The doctor can't get a CT scan approval so I am educating myself. Does this sound like IBS?
