Question Anybody have..

I have been to many doctors(5) Had an endoscopy doen and am going back next thursday for the results. My gi doc seems to think i am too young to have any problems and is pushing off my stomach issues to stress. Im have no stress in my life and dont feel stressed, im 21 years old why would i. Anyway he keeps sayign its probably just ibs. Most people i have noticed have problems with bms. well i dont. Everything is fine in that area. I just cant eat anything or i feel like crap. just wondering if there is anybody else out there who has ibs without the bm problems?

The doctor probably meant that you were too young for Bowel Cancer.. But not for IBS, a lot of us are in our early 20's with it.

I sometimes get some sort of weird reflux thing too (maybe because I had it as a child), but I think you need to work out whether it is a stomach pain youre getting, or its further along in your bowels. Bowel pain can take many hours to subside, its a long process, and is related to your actual bowel movements.

Question

thanks for the reply. half the time the doctors think im 12 and by all means i do not look 12. anyways i know im not too young for ibs but everything i read on it is about altering bms and mine are fine. i dont suffer from any c or d so thats why i dont think its ibs
