Hi there. Im curious and have lots of questions in return, because Ive been going through this crap. Cramping, not being able to go to the restroom, etc. And in the past I was REALLY sick, puking until I couldnt anymore. My stomach would cramp up so hard that it would make me puke, and I wasnt able to sleep because of the cramps. Felt weak the whole period. I started taking Benefiber daily, and its been working very well. Some days I slack and forget to take it, which in turn comes back to haunt me.
One day I ate too much food, and it did a number on me. I've read that alcohol will do the same. But it seems that if I eat too much, then my stomach hurts and I start to feel mild cramps. Which could possibly mean my stomach doesnt digest the food well. Ive had to eat Subway and healthy food for the past 2 months!
I was given the idea from someone about Freelax, a laxative. But, Ive read that laxatives should not be used consistantly. I found this out 2 weeks after taking Freelax straight. Ive stopped taking the Freelax and just went straight to Benefiber and have gone to the bathroom semi-regularly. Which is once or so a day for me (healthy?). I usually took Freelax for the times I knew I ate too much, and I popped a couple Freelaxes. Which made the bathroom breaks a little longer, but still made it through it.
Im curious, have you had to resort to eating REALLY healthy foods? Did you get light cramps, or did the cramps completely go away when you were feeling better? Should I get a colonoscopy to make sure its nothing serious? Any help would be much appreciated.
