I have had ibs for about a year now and have mild discomfort, but today I got horrible pains in my stomach that even felt like it was in my chest. It hurt bad!! It helped after I went to the bathroom and ate, because I didn't have any breakfast. has anyone had this?
I'm thinking that if you are having pains in your chest, you should get that checked out.. I can think of a couple of things it might be, but, without knowing more, it could be pretty simple to treat, a doc could tell you, can you get to a clinic?

I go to the doc on the 16th, I am not to worried because it went away, I have had a ct scan on my chest before because I have a pinched nerve from a skateboard accident, I am only 25 i don't think I have a heart problem. I will mention it to the doc.thanks
YES!!! I can relate!! I ended up in the ER four times with those same exact problems and wasn't diagnosed properly until just last week. This doctor put me on zelnorm and so far it has been wonderful! I know it is so painful and feels like a huge belt around your waist getting tighter and tighter and "sqeezing" everything up into your chest ( i even had kidney pains from it). Go see an internal doctor or a gastroenterologist, the one I saw really helped me!!! Good luck!!!
