Question About Flax Seed Oil

I heard it is great for those with severe gas and such. Anyway, I heard there are multiple forms of it (seed, oil, capsule) and such. Does anyone know which form is the most effective and where I can buy some? Also, would I take it before or after a meal and how often would I take it daily?

Re: Question About Flax Seed Oil

Hi J,
There is alot written about flaxseed on this board. It is used by alot of people as a stool forming agent but I only use it as flaxseed oil softgel form for an essential fatty acid supplement.

You could do a search on flaxseed and read all the messages that people have posted.
God Bless---Harry

Re: Question About Flax Seed Oil

Hello, I was just at the health food store the other day and the nutritionist who works there told me to take flax seed oil gel caps 2X a day with food for IBS. I hope this answers yr question.
