| Re: How to get diagnosed and treatments
Hi,
If you have IBS with constipation then you can feel nauseous because of the constipation.
The belly and bowels will feel very sore and inflammed because that is exactly what is happening, they are. You may also experience spasmodic pains in your lower belly and everything goes into spasm.
Treatments are things like fiber, metamucil, something called Colofac three times daily before eating. This will reduce spasmodic and burning pains in the belly.
You can also try eating live yoghurt or taking Acidophilis caps on a regular basis as this puts good bacteria back in the gut. Digestive enzymes are also quite helpful and a lot of people on this board have used them will great success, but I think Harry knows more about them than I do.
Anyway, hope this helps?
Take care
Sarah
