I went to regular doctor today with sides hurting and stomach nausea, been like that for a week. Had an endoscopy Friday before last and have hurt since then. The only thing the doc said after endoscopy was some gastritis and he took biopsies. I have hurt in there since then. Anyway doctor today just wrote me a prescription for Levbid. Will this give relief from pain?

Hi-sorry you're experiencing pain. LevBid is an anti-spasmodic. I am currently taking the generic form-Hyoscyamine for IBS. It will ease your spasms and help with the pain.

Side note: You've probably already filled the prescription but if you have refills, ask for Hyoscyamine. It's only $5.50 as opposed to LevBid which is very expensive.

I did get the generic kind and not the levbid.
