get it checked....what they will ususally do, is the doctor will ask you these questions:
1 how long has it been going on
2.did it have to do with any diet changes
3.is there any blood?
4. does nausea accompany it?
5.are your stools black?
Generally, IBS is basically where you're not regular, and your digestive system just gives you alot of crap. (hahaha) <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif"> those last 3 questions above generally areto make sure it isn't something seriose like colon cancer or crohn's deisease. Usually IBS is just diagnosed with a careful questionair, and if problmes are severa or really bad, maybe a colonoscopy.
