Does this happen to anyone else and do you know why and what can be done about it?
I just also want to say thank you to all of you. Knowing that you are all here and understanding me and not "looking down" on me really helps. Thank you all for your help and knowledge on this annoying problem called IBS that we deal with everyday!
[This message has been edited by SLSV (edited 08-09-2001).]
I often experience a squeezing feeling (and sometimes pain) in the upper digestive area after having attacks of cramps and diarrhea. It feels as if food or gas is trapped somewhere and won't start moving in the right direction - and sometimes I need to belch *a lot*. After the last attack I was awake until 3 in the morning because of this.
