The best thing you can do for constipation is make sure you eat a diet that has enough fiber or take a water soluble fiber supplement. Also, you need to drink enough water daily. The diet that most of us eat only contains about 1/3 the amount of fiber we need-----primarily because we eat too much processed food that most fiber has been removed.It is not unusual to have long stool taking a water fiber supplement.Psyllium is a stool/bulk forming agent!!!
You just need fiber and water to make your Gastro system function properly.
