Hi,
My GI dr. recently gave me a prescription for Miralax to relieve my life-long constipation. I alternate between C and D. Usually, I won't go for a week or two and then bam, I have D like nobody's business! So, the dr. said that if I were "regular", I wouldn't get so backed up and end up w/D. My dr. also said that I could take Miralax for an indefinite period of time because it's not a stimulant. I started about 10 days ago. It seems to be working. I'm going almost every day (something that I have never done in my entire 38 years)and so far no D). So, I was wondering if anyone has used Miralax for an extended period of time and if they experienced any side effects.
I'd appreciate any response.
