dairy products and IBS
My fifteen year old was diagnosed with possible IBS. I'm thinking the daily cereal and skim milk might be the culprit. Her diet consists of fruits and veggies, plenty of water, very little sweets, chicken, fish and red meat. Her symptoms a gurgling sounds and pain in the intestine, lower abdomen bloating, up to now only a few bouts of diarrhea and no constipation. This sounds like the beginning stages to me. What would be a good alternative breakfast, yet still keep the calcium requirements?
