Too Fatigued/Tired to have diarrhea, lots of cramping?

Lately I've been very fatigued and coupled with my IBS, there have been times were I am literally just too tired to give a sh*t. If I've eaten something triggering and need to have diarrhea, my body will be too fatigued to push it through my system. This results in a flipping/cramping/pounding sensation in my stomach for several hours. It has been so intense at times that all i can do is lay still and scream. Finally, after several hours of on and off screaming/sweating/result-less gagging and nausea--I'll have explosive diarrhea for several more hours. I will empty my entire system to teh point where my ribs ache. Has anyone ever experienced this--what can I do to help myself?

EDIT: I've tried taking GAS-X & Donnatol during these episodes and they have zero effect. Very bizarre.

If you're getting so tired that you're unable to pass even diarrhea then you most likely dehydrated. This product is usually used in babies and children with diarrhea but I have heard nurses recommend it to my home care clients that have diarrhea. It helps keep you get hydrated and puts back the electrolytes in your body. You should really keep a food and bowel movement diary for two weeks to see what foods are causing the diarrhea problem. Milk and dairy products, acidic, spicy, gassy, deep fat fried foods, and high fat content meals are usually the biggest culprits of explosive diarrhea and severe abdominal cramps before and after bowel movements, lots of gas,and sometimes bloating.
