Having abdominal cramps is one of the major symptoms of IBS most of the time it happens before and after bowel movements. It usually worse during your period but it also be from constipation if that is part of your IBS.
If the fecal occult test(stool test) was negative and your blood tests were normal, and you're not having pencil thin like bowel movements it's highly unlikely colon cancer more likely IBS.
