Hi - I've had IBS a long time - also being treated for SIBO now. Last week or so, I am noticing when I have a bowel movement there looks to be a clearish/white film in toilet water - not in the stool, but if the stool moves around, more white stuff comes out ????? Sorry to be gross .... I did test positive for fecal fat last Oct. and GI doc thinks it was from the SIBO, but I am feeling better from that for the most part. This would be new for my IBS - I am due to see GI again soon for another breath test but not sure what this is now that is happening to me??? ANYONE ???? I always thought mucous was common with IBS but IN the stool, not floating around it. Thanks - MaryAnn
