So for over a year now I have suffered from daily diarrhea, cramping and severe pain in localized areas (usually in the ULQ). I have had a barium swallow, barium meal and abdominal ultrasound done, as well as blood tests. The blood tests came back saying I was anemic and had low sodium. The doctor also told me I have GERD and put me on co-pantoprazole 40mg once a day, every day, but it's my lower digestive track that's causing most of the problems and pain (and blood sometimes after going to the bathroom). She (the dr.) basically told me it's IBS, and told me to try eating more probiotics (which is hard to find in a dairy free form). I am vegan (been for 2 years, and vegetarian prior to that), so I don't see what could be causing irritation - I have been tested for celiacs, but that came back negative. I have also cut out soy as I know that can cause trouble, but to no avail. I get episodes where I get nauseous and shaky and have cold sweats and have even passed out once (which when I brought it up to my doctor - same day she told me my test results - said it was probably from standing). I've only been to the doctor about 3 times between August and December, as I dislike going because I feel like I'm being a nuisance and they don't really believe me, but the pain is getting much worse :[ Does anyone know of a way to help the pain subside and get this under control a bit?

thanks any advice would be much appreciated.
