Hi, all . . . we just got our Wii set up that we got for Christmas. I am wondering if my doctor is going to consider it exercise just like the real thing.
Our grown kids tell me it should tone up those aging muscles I have and limber up the joints (I am 53). My doctor wanted me to do 30 minutes a day but this is so much fun I will probably do at least an hour.
We have the sports package and the bowling is my favorite thing, so we started with that. We also got the Lego Star Wars game, so that should be fun, too, though probably not much in the way of exercise.
The nice thing about the Wii is when you make your "Mii" character, you can either try to go for realistic or make yourself look the way you always wanted to. After I got done making mine, I joined my husband who had done his character first in the "Plaza". How did I get out into the Plaza? I was apparently shoved from somewhere and bounced on my bottom end a few times.
Will have to check for a "Wii" bruise on my bottom before I go to bed tonight.
