How long do you spend on your way to work?

i saw a news recently about the average time people spend on the way to work in different countries: (minutes)

So how long do you spend on the way to work?
I take 20mins.

30mins if walk
15min if ride bike
10mins if take a bus
5mins if take taxi

I drive and it takes me 20 minutes or a couple minutes under. But where I live, it is not uncommon for people to drive 2 hours!!!! YIKES!

I used to spend four hours a day (2 each way) on a train.. I've moved now and only spend forty minutes each way, I'd never go back!!

Definitely.. Winter is the worst.. Leave for work and it's dark, get home and it's dark!

2 hrs. commuting in a bus
5 mins walk..

35 minutes driving mostly at posted speed limits (between 55 and 70 mph) unless there's a slow down due to traffic.

Oftentimes, the duration of time that I usually spend to work would greatly depend on the kind of work that I am working with. If such work requires much time, then probably, longer number of hours are being spent with such tasks, and vice versa.:angel::wave:

My housing is provided by my employer so I walk out of my house and boom! I'm there! This has been the case for the last 7 years and I can't imagine having to drive an hour or two like some of you.

I used to commute 2 to 3 hours a day (depending on weather and traffic).

I changed jobs to a job closer to home. I took a paycut but now I commute about 8 minutes each way. I'm getting ready to move to another house and my commute will be more like 15 minutes each way then. I'm half considering selling my car and riding my bike to work. I think it'd take me about 45 minutes each way (I'm not the fastest cyclist) but I'd be in a lot better health and a few hundred dollars less poor each month if I didn't have a car payment.

I am spending 7 to 8 Hours on my work in office .

I have a 20 minute commute.

I am a firm believer of nothing more then 30 minutes for a commute to work. Of course this is due to the fact that I have never had to commute any longer then that. I have been fortunate.

I spend about 2 hours to reach my work in the hospital

I live in South Africa, and spend about an hour to get to work.....and 20 min to get back home. Traffic is a "count your blessings" initiative. However, I listen to audio books while in traffic. The time does seem shorter.:D

It takes me 40 minutes, I kinda like the drive I put my music on and sing my heart out which relaxes me on the way to work and de-stresses me on the way home :)

A bus takes me about 45 minutes or so.
