I think love is a bodily function. I've never heard anyone say this before, but I think it's true, even though it might sound strange. If it's not a bodily function, what is it?
This would explain why people take love potions. You drink it (love potion #9) and it stimulates your body to fall in love. There was a song about this but I can't remember many of the words. Someone took a love potion and was kissing everyone in sight, including a cop.
That's as good an idea as the next-who knows (LOL)! Although, I'm more inclined to think Tina had it right when she said, "it's physical, only logical," afterall, think about it, how many people do we come into contact with on a daily basis, not meet, just come into contact with at the grocery store, or dry cleaners, while vacumning our cars, yet, the actual number of people we actully "connect," with is miniscule, statistically speaking. We meet a person who for whatever reason, we find ourselves attracted to, and hopefully it's reciprocated, (nobody wants to be a stalker , then we start the courtship, that leads to marriage, kids, and mortgages, the stuff of dreams, or something more casual, that is purely physical, until the chemistry is gone-and someone gets dumped! Hmm, when you look at it that way-it really is a bodily function!
Thanks, MS THING, I enjoyed your reply. You mentioned "chemistry" and I agree that it's physical (body chemistry). Good thinking!
Here's another one: How many times have you heard someone say, "I love you with all my heart." Being that the heart is a body part, it seems to provide more evidence that love is a bodily function.
