Ha! That's a good question. I had forgotten all about the luck aspect until I read your question. I just ran out of black eyed peas and bought more. It was lucky that I thought to take advantage of a good sale last December, but bad luck that I didn't buy enough to last the whole year. Next time I will buy at least 30 bags.
On balance, I'm doing well. I would like to think it's the result of living a good lifestyle and making wise decisions, but I have to admit there's always a little luck involved.
