Kidney stone symptoms

For the past three months I have been experiencing twinges in my left lower pelvis and low abdominal ache, which seems to also affect my left leg. I have had an abdominal ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound and the radiologist said I have a stone in my left kidney. She is to send her report to my GP but I feel that the stone cannot be causing the discomfort so low in the pelvis. I have no urinary issues. Can a kidney stone cause my symptoms?

I've had kidney stones and yes they can cause the pain and abdominal discomfort you are experiencing. My pain always started in the left abdominal side, radiating into my pelvic area, groin and into the inner side of my left thigh.

Kidney stones can cause terrible radiating pain.
In 2013, I thought I was having an appendicitis on my right side. It turned out to be a large kidney stone, 1.7 centimeter and several 8-13 mm stones and they were located in my keft kidney!
I had stomach issues for months while dealing with two blockages a stent and three lithotripsies.
Try lemonade. My urologist recommends it because the citric acid helps to break down the stones making them easier to pass! It works on calcium oxalate stones, which are the most common.
