Unhappy Gfr

Hi, I am new to the post. I am 64 year old female, normal blood pressure and no diabetes. I suffer from anxiety and sometimes depression. I had GFR reading of 65 in August 2016 and in the past 6 months there is a rapid decline and now it is 43. My creatinine is 110. All other tests are normal. My doctor did not want to send me to a specialist and I insisted but reluctantly he agreed to send me. Is there a reason he would not be concerned? I am very worried, my mum was on dialysis for 7 years and I have a brother and nephew both had to have their one kidney removed at 21. I have looked at my tests from the past 7 years and at one point it was 53. But this time it has been the lowest. I have been taking a low dose antidepressant for past 10 years. But recently tried to stop and go for accupunture for anxiety and started taking GABA which is amino acid (200 mg) for anxiety. If anyone can tell me if GABA could have caused the drop in GFR. I also used HRT for few months. Any feedback would be such a help. It will be months before I get to see a neph.
